Birth of Timothy Mark Moyers

Timothy Mark Moyers was born on June 15th, 1959, to John and Joyce Moyers, marking the beginning of a life that would be filled with creativity and artistic expression.

1977

First Art Exhibition

At the age of 18, Timothy held his first art exhibition, showcasing his early works and setting the stage for a lifelong dedication to art.

1987

Marriage and a baby

In 1987 Timothy met his now ex wife, and they married and Tim’s first and only child was concieved. Maybe one of Tim’s greatest works of art of all time. On May 25th, 1988 Timothy Mark Moyers II was born. He is a very special soul, and Tim’s driving force.

1990

Gourd Fever Hits

This is when Tim and his wife Carmella, got bitten by the gourd bug. They started growing and crafting gourds and started The Gourd Reserve for exchanging seeds.

1992

Hopewell Culture

One of Tim’s greatest achievements was the work he did for the Ohio Historical Society, and having the pleasure of knowing two great men,… Rodger Kennedy, the Director of The Smithsonian National Museum of American History, and Bradley Leper of the Ohio Historical Society.
